Foraging Basket / Over-the-Shoulder Handbag
Create a stunning over the shoulder bag for foraging or simply as a beautiful willow bag. In this small group (maximum 4 students) you will be encouraged to explore your creativity with colour and design.

About the event
This project is suitable for beginners or those with more experience of basketmaking. The basket is constructed with a Catalan woven base and you can work with locally grown willow or incorporate white willows from the Somerset Levels. You can finish your bag with a hand-made cork strap (available in a variety of colours at £20 per strap) or you can take it away to have a leather strap added.
